Old Town Inn

Front desk friendly & helpful, you can get tickets for trolley & zoo at the desk as well. Breakfast is included & nice selection. Room was clean, pleasant & bed was super comfy. We didn't use the pool but heated to 80°.

Parking included Location, decent and near transit. even though it’s right off the highway, doesn’t feel like that at all, it’s easy to get anywhere you want to go and when you pull into the hotel parking lot it’s like its own little oasis with meticulously maintained landscaping I’m happy we picked this spot, highly recommend. We stayed for 7 nights.

Room was quite small and dated but it was what we expected. No problem with that. Was as clean as could be and well maintained. Plenty of hot water in shower which had a wall unit with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Small refrigerator as with most hotels. Staff was very friendly and ready to accommodate if needed. Forget something, they have often forgotten items for free at front desk. Only thing I would improve would be addition of a small microwave. Breakfast was also quite good. The usual waffle maker, bagels, cereal, yogurt, hot coffee, tea, Cocoa, apples and oranges and hard boiled eggs. Would definitely consider them again.

We love it! Rooms are very clean and bed so comfortable. Just what we need. The location is perfect as a hub, either going/coming from the airport and walking distance to the Amtrak Old Town station.Very affordable. Staff always attentive and nice, we were allowed to check in earlier. We have decided this will be our place to stay on everytime we visit San Diego. Definitely we recommend this nice little cozy hotel, its a hidden jewel

This was our first time staying at Old Town Inn in San Diego. We arrived a little early and asked about an early check-in, as well as a first-floor room since I recently had back surgery. Unfortunately, early check-in wasn’t available, which was completely understandable, but they were kind enough to accommodate us with a first-floor room for my disability. I just want to say the two gentlemen at the front desk were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and professional. I really wish I had gotten their names because they deserve recognition. The room was cute, small, and absolutely perfect—and very, very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. It truly had everything you need for an overnight stay, and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Breakfast was small but had the perfect selection of choices. Thank you for being so accommodating to my needs. We can’t wait to stay with you again

I had a wonderful stay at the Old Town Inn. Even though it’s a two-star hotel, the service and comfort truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay relaxing and enjoyable. The location is perfect—right in Old Town, close to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. It was easy to walk everywhere, and transportation options were also nearby. The hotel also offered great value for the price, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly but pleasant stay. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, cleanliness, and great service without breaking the bank!

A lovely place to stay within a short walk of Old Town. Room was clean, but ours could have benefited from a little more air flow within. I know it's an old building but the room seemed a little stuffy. Continental breakfast was on point. Great place to stay for 2 nights at a decent price!

This is a true hidden gem! Great location within walking distance to Old Town and adjacent to the transit center for easy access to the trolley. Room was spotless - bed was made every day with clean towels too. Quiet and great location near highway 5. Free onsite parking and free breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.
